Role Overview: We are on the hunt for a dynamic Financial Project Manager, fluent in both Afrikaans and English, to join our team at the Klerksdorp head office. This role offers the unique opportunity to engage in significant projects across Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, and Mozambique, requiring occasional travel. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop financial models and reports.
  • Oversee risk, cash, and capital structure management.
  • Develop and implement compliance and governance structures.
  • Establish financial controls and reporting structures.
  • Develop and implement strategies for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Contract negotiation and vendor relationship management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial governance.
  • Formulate financial strategies and manage stakeholder relations.
  • Establish financial controls and governance structures.
  • Lead and develop a growing team.
  • Facilitate communication with clients and internal staff.
  • Direct the planning and execution of innovative irrigation and drainage projects, from initiation to completion.
Job Requirements:
  • Must possess CA(SA) accreditation and a formal qualification in Project Management.
  • Requires 5-7 years of experience, ideally in a corporate setting.
  • Experience in managing cross-border transactions/projects in Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, and/or Mozambique for at least 5 years.
  • Proficiency in MS Teams, MS Projects, and financial software is essential.
  • A background in the Agricultural sector is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, and procurement is advantageous for a seamless role transition.
