Duties and Responsibilities
- Sales & Performance Management
- Track and drive sales performance against targets, implementing corrective actions where needed
- Manage sales leads, ensuring timely allocation, follow-up, and high service levels
- Conduct daily sales meetings to review performance, stock reservations, and customer experience
- Oversee debtor management and ensure compliance with business rules
- Maintain excellent floor layout, vehicle presentation, and customer service standards
- Operations & Inventory Management
- Oversee branch warehouse operations, including stock levels, vehicle audits, and compliance
- Optimize stock turnover and minimize aged/obsolete inventory
- Conduct regular audits on sold yards, stock management, and online vehicle listings
- Ensure cost control measures for fuel, utilities, and reconditioning expenses
- Maintain health, safety, and compliance standards across all branches
- Leadership & Team Management
- Oversee branch headcount, rostering, and staffing needs to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct weekly sales and operations meetings with branch managers
- Provide structured one-on-one coaching for branch and operations managers, focusing on performance, action plans, and continuous improvement
- Manage underperformers in line with the company’s performance improvement framework
- Training & Development
- Mentor and develop branch management teams to enhance leadership and sales effectiveness
- Conduct monthly training sessions covering sales, customer service, operations, and company culture
- Evaluate training impact and ensure practical application of learned skills.
- Provide continuous coaching on all aspects of the sales process, including customer engagement, lead management, and complaint resolution
- Housekeeping & Customer Experience
- Ensure floor layout, vehicle placement, and price cards are accurate and up to standard
- Oversee stock take accuracy and compliance with vehicle reservation rules
Manage after-sales care, ensuring all customer concerns are handled professionally and promptly
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of sales unit and ancillary product targets
- Sales team headcount and individual sales executive performance within agreed parameters
- Finance effectiveness and lead conversion rates
- Inventory and stock management efficiency.
Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and timely resolution of escalated complaints

Job Requirements
- Any higher education qualification in business related field advantageous
- Min 5 -8 years managerial experience
