The Events, Community & Social Media Specialist is responsible for shaping and executing Wamly’s in-person engagement strategy, including organising executive dinners, HR roundtables, and industry conferences. This role also oversees Wamly’s podcast, drives community engagement efforts, and manages customer advocacy programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute executive dinners, 200-person in-person events, and HR industry conferences
  • Manage and grow the HR Roundtable community, developing initiatives to increase engagement and referrals
  • Oversee the production and promotion of Wamly’s podcast, including guest bookings, and episode marketing
  • Collaborate with the Content Team to create event marketing materials, invitations, and post-event recaps
  • Build strategic partnerships with HR industry associations and influencers to amplify brand presence
  • Manage customer advocacy programs, including testimonials and referral initiatives

Skills Required

  • Social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
  • Social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta business suite)
  • Social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Zoho, Monday.com)
  • Experience with CRM tools and event management platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Zoho, or Eventbrite)
 
Job Requirements
  • 3 + years of experience
  • Experience in event marketing or brand marketing
  • Experience in community engagement within the HR industry
  • Strong project management skills with experience planning high-profile in-person and virtual events
  • Background in podcast management, brand storytelling, or influencer marketing is a plus
